We are requesting a call-ahead from everyone, if possible. All of our Wine Tastings are seated and our tasting spaces are intimate. They fill-up quickly, especially on weekends. A reservation guarantees a comfortable seated Wine Tasting.
Kids
At Harwood, we welcome kids and we have great stuff for kids to do and ‘special’ beverages at no change. Same goes for Reauver and Phydeau…
Pets
A call-ahead about bringing a pet is always advised since we only have a few spots where your pet will have the space they need to be comfortable.
Chairs and Personal Equipment
We have tried to keep our Winery, Tasting Room and Patios completely Chair Friendly and we have an ADA washroom. There’s also close-in parking for vehicles with “Chair Symbol” license plates
If you are traveling with a Wine Tour Company, your driver can request close-in parking even though they may not have a “Chair Symbol” license plate.
Electric Cars
We have two electric car charging stations. One has a Tesla connector and the other has an EV standard connector. There is no fee while you are visiting for a Wine Tasting or a snack, We can also help you find other charging stations in The County, such as Traynor Family Vineyards, down the road a piece, Huff Estates Winery, a little farther along, and Waupoos Estates Winery, a little farther yet. Several other wineries are adding chargers, so this list is not complete.
We provide free level 2 car charging for the duration of your visit with a maximum of one hour because the chargers are in high-demand. Sorry, we can’t offer extended chaging time. Our insurance requires the car’s driver to be present on the property during the full charging time.
Diet
We create wine pairing plates with our tastings as samples that will express a wine’s ability to highlight food enjoyment. We aren’t able to provide custom plates for our tastings, although we can hold back certain food types on request. Our Patio Menus and Special Events Menus always feature alternate selections for people who follow Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free diets. There’s no way for us to be sure that our offerings do not contain allergens because we don’t supervise the whole seed-to-serving cycle..
Dedicated Drivers / Tour Guides
Dedicated Drivers hold a special place in our hearts at Harwood. We have “special beverages” for them at no charge and even their own plates of tasting snacks. The same goes for commercial Tour Guides and Drivers. They are welcome to come in for coffee and “special beverages” too.
Moms-to-be
Moms-to-be get royal treatment at Harwood with “special beverages” and the same tasting plates as everybody else at no charge. We want you to be part of the adventure! Please let your Harwood host know if you are expecting a family addition. BTW, congratulations!!!
