Four Season Luxury Accomodations
Not only will you find many short term rentals in The County…allow us to introduce you to something special coming in the summer of 2023. On a hill overlooking our prize Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is the first of five cottages with a panoramic view of Hillier Wine Country where you can sit in the hot tub and watch the grapes grow.
Seed investment from the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Agency for Southern Ontario made it possuble to start and finish the first of our idyllic vineyard cottages through the extremely trying times of the early 2020’s.
The Cottages of Chardonnay Hill designs are based upon the conceptual engineering of Ernest Margetson and designers Scott Turrall, Michael Quinn and Ian Laurie. They will feature every convenience including electric car charging, state-of-the-art entertainment systems, all appliances and the highest quality bedding and mattresses.
The four-seasons environment is in-floor-heated and air conditioned, but there’s an open porch, a large screened-in porch and a Bar-B-Q deck where you’ll probably spend a good deal of time overseeing our Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer vineyards.
Our own housekeeping staff will clean before your visit following stringent guidelines set out by the Province of Ontario and the Hastings and Prince Edward Health Unit.

#4 Mary Avenue in Wellington, Ontario sits just on the Wellington village limit, walking distance from stores, restaurants and the LCBO. But more importantly, it is in the epicentre of Prince Edward County Wine Country and, yet, still close to all the shopping, convenience .and entertainment that the thriving Village of Wellington has to offer. BTW, Wellington has some pretty impressive night-life too, including The Drake Devonshire and Mid-Town Brewery (to mention just a couple).

A HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2024
We are once again honoured and humbled by the confidence the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Agency for Southern Ontario has demonstrated in us by providing seed financing for an ambitious project we hope to finish in 2024.
On Chardonnay Hill, overlooking our prize Chardonnay and Pinot Gris vineyards, we are building a lovely country-fied Reception Centre for groups of 50 to 150, featuring a full restaurant and commercial kitchen. Like the Cottages on Chardonay Hill, Adam Peloso and Ian Laurie have designed Chardonnay Hill for all four seasons with fire places, heat and cooling. But summers will be very special on the 100 by 12-foot elevated veranda reaching out to the corner of the vineyard. And then, there’s the white pergola on it’s own hill near that veranda…but let’s talk more about that…later!
